Our Guest House is a renovated Bodega in the tiny Mountain Village of Balones
This is the village of Balones. The city of Alcoy can be seen in the distance.

HOW TO FIND US From the Airport Leave the airport in the direction of the motorway, these are the blue signs, join the motorway heading for Valencia. Exit at junction 70 marked Alcoi (Alcoy) A77, follow this route until a couple of miles before Alcoy, where you will see a sign post to Benilloba on a right hand bend. Take this road until a mile past Benilloba where you turn left for Gorga. In Gorga on a left curve, turn right in the direction Fageca. Balones is the next village. Enter the village by the second entrance marked 'CENTRE URBA', 50yds on the right park under the tall pine trees. Walk up into the village, take the first left, then left again, and we are the big peach coloured house on the left, just after the telephone cabin. From Benidorm From Benidorm Take the road in the direction of La Nucia and Callosa D'Ensaria. Before you get to La Nucia on a large roundabout you will see a sign for Alcoi (Alcoy) and Guadalest, follow this road past Guadalest and over the mountain. After a village called Benasau, about three miles on, you will see a sign for Gorga, turn right, and follow this and the instructions above "From Alicante Airport" at the same point. From the Valencia Direction Coming from Valencia you will come to the end of the motorway near the town of Albaida. Follow on in the same direction over the hill. When you come to the town of Muro de Alcoy the road widens to a dual carriageway, follow this till it splits again near the town of Cocentaina. Here keep in the left hand lane as you will be taking the road around Cocentaina. From this by-pass take the first exit in the direction of Benilloba. Follow this road right through Benilloba and take the Gorga direction as in the airport route. Have a safe Journey, and if you run into problems or get lost, call us on 965511222.
